Last September 23, 2011, Katrina Perez and Renz Garraez, both from Antimony, were hailed as Mr. and Ms. QCA 2011-2012.
According to their classmates from Antimony, they chose Perez and Garraez as their candidates for Mr. and Ms. QCA because the class believed that the two could fight and win the pageant.
Renz was born on November 11, 1995. According to his friends, Garraez is very helpful, honest and a gentleman. He was a peace officer (PO) when he was a sophomore and currently a barangay kagawad. He believes that “Life is not measured by the number of breath you take, but by the moments that take your breath away”.
Katrina, also called “Kat” by friends, was born on October 25, 1996. She is friendly, generous and helpful. She was the section secretary, a class board member and Pabinhian member in her freshman year. She was a vice-governor, a DEPA member and a COMELEC committee in her sophomore year. Currently, she is an SASF and DEPA member and a COMELEC committee member. Her expression; “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”.
The pair of Renz and Katrina shares not only beauty, talent and intelligence but also the respect of fellow students. “They have been good examples to us in discipline, diligence in studies and participation in extra-curricular activities” several classmates put it. They are good role models.
