About NetLearn

NetLearn Ventures, Inc. formerly known as Net Effect, is an IT consulting company established in 2001. Positioned as a premier player in the emerging IT integration movement in the Philippine education sector, NetLearn was created on the basis of several premises:

• that the existing education was notably inadequate, leaving the state of Philippine education behind other Asian countries, and its graduates unprepared for the workplace,
  
• that as many studies revealed, multi-media and multi-sensorial teaching and learning experience was significantly more effective than the chalk-and-blackboard set-up,
  
• that information technology, by its definition, opens up communication and information resources to those that have access, thereby increasing the user’s resource and influence base, and
  
• that information technology has radically changed the landscape of the workplace, necessitating the acquisition of new skills and knowledge.

NetLearn’s operations focused on developing and providing ICT integration services to private schools to address the above challenges. NetLearn believes that ICT integration and educational reform programs would be the driving force into transforming the education sector, and consequently the Philippines from its current in-crisis situation to a position of power in Asia and the globe.

Now, NetLearn is taking the next step in ICT integration by recognizing that most schools, already possessing the basic ICT infrastructure, have to be assisted in taking full advantage of the hardware, software and people they already have. NetLearn partners with schools in providing for their present technology requirements and preparing for future growth.
